Description
RainAlarm is the easiest and fastest way to know whether rain or snow is on the way. It has been developed to provide a fast, reliable and lightweight application.

There is a free version of RainAlarm which has less features and contains ads. We recommend trying the free version before purchasing.

Precipitation proximity is checked regularly (every 30, 20 or 10 minutes) within a radius around your location that can be set to values between 20 Km and 500 Km. This is all done in our server, so no background process draining your battery. Whenever rain approaches you, you'll receive an alert indicating distance, strength and size of the precipitation. Your location is determined automatically (red pin) but if you prefer it, you can set you location manually by selecting this option in the menu and dragging the green pin to any point in the map.

You can also select the sensitivity of the alarm. Setting it to high RainAlarm will alert you about any precipitation. Setting it to low will make the alarm skip precipitations that are under 20% of strength and 10 percent of size.

The App presents the last radar images in a sequence that helps you determine the direction and speed of the rain. You can change the length of the animation (default is 4 frames) and the interval of time between images (default is 30 minutes).

Regions without radar images available are marked with gray. When a radar is out of order, its area is marked with light gray color.

- Q: How do I show warning polygons in "Google Maps" mode?
- A: Warning polygons are not currently supported in "Google Maps" mode. However, this feature is coming soon!

- Q: I have selected "Google Maps", but National map (or regional map) isn't displayed on "Google Maps"?
- A: Regional maps are not currently supported in "Google Maps" mode. However, this feature is planned for a future release.

- Q: How do I select another radar in "Google Maps" mode? I don't see any others on the map.
- A: Use "locate", search, or choose from the radar lists. However, selecting radars from the map itself is coming soon!

- Q: It's snowing (or light rain), but nothing is showing on the radar?
- A: Turn off "Clutter Reduction" in settings.
