TYLER WHITE
Tyler is a sophomore at Stanford University in California. He is currently pursuing a degree in Symbolic Systems with an honors concentration in Ethics and Society. He went to school in Crystal Lake, IL and was born in Cleveland Ohio. He spent his freshman year at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor before transferring to Stanford for his sophomore year. At Stanford he is a brother of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity and sings a cappella with Everyday People, Stanford's R&B and soul group. His passions include achievement gaps in education and entrepreneurship. In the future, he hopes to either start or work for a company that allows him to work with education initiatives. He ultimately wants to eradicate the racial achievement gap at all levels.
AYA INAMORI
Aya is a senior at Stanford University. She applied there as an international student from Tokyo. Her academic interests lie in the fields of linguistics (bilingualism) and clinical psychology (child and adolescent mental health). Aya loves working with children. She finds their energy, curiosity, and creativity contagious. She is also interested in how language shapes a child's developing mind. Her long-term goal is to become a child clinical psychologist. Aya also enjoys learning new languages, traveling and eating good food. Countries she has visited during her four years of college include Dubai, Spain, Morocco, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, and Canada. Her favorite thing to eat is freshly baked chocolate chip cookies dipped in milk.
ROBERT LEE
Born in South Korea, Robert grew up in Chicago and is currently a junior at Harvard College, where he is pursuing a joint bachelors-masters degree in Economics and Regional Studies – East Asia. Having been fascinated by Chinese history and language since middle school, he has traveled extensively across China, studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, and most recently worked within the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley Asia.

Bookvario is a colorful and bright digital abc-book for kids aged 1 to
5 years old. With Bookvario your child can discover the world of
Russian and English letters through an interesting and exciting game.
The application has two modes – the easiest one with a simple
controlling for kids, and a standard mode for older children.
Bookvario includes two types of exercises:
1. To learn and remember letters.
A child scrolls cards, every card contains the images and sounds of a
letter and a related picture or photo. Cards can be mixed to provide
better memorizing, and sound can be switched off. Apart you can record
your voice to add sound to the cards, so with that your kid can hear
an own parent's voice instead of someone's else.
2. To improve memory skills and focus.
A child sees a set of cards turned upside-down. The task is to find
pairs with the same images, only two cards may be opened once. When a
pair is found, the description of the card is pronounced and both
cards stay opened. It repeats until all the pairs are found. You may
control the level of the task with a number of cards, from 8 to 30.

**Named by Sunday Times as one of the top 500 apps!**
Created in partnership with Toura, the app includes over 100 highlights from our collections, including literary, historical, music-related and scientific documents - alongside illuminated manuscripts and sacred texts. Each is presented through high-resolution images, allowing the viewer to zoom in and explore in extraordinary detail.
Literary highlights include pages selected by our curators from Charles Dickens’s handwritten draft of Nicholas Nickleby and Jane Austen’s teenage writings, while key historical documents include 2000-year-old Oracle Bones from China, an original Magna Carta of 1215, Elizabeth I’s famous Tilbury speech before the Spanish Armada, and a recording of suffragette Christabel Pankhurst’s speech after her release from prison.
The section devoted to music includes pages selected by our curators from manuscript scores from some of the best-known classical composers, such as Handel, Purcell, Mozart and Schubert. A section devoted to maps showcases some of the most interesting and beautiful maps and views from the collection.
