Description
When you're mobile, your iPhone calendar app's main focus is to show you what's happening now.

Enter Agenda.

Agenda is a beautifully designed calendar for the iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad that gives you various "at a glance" views. We've stripped away all the stuff you don't need, so you can more quickly manage your day.

We also have introduced a clever feature called “status taps.” “Status taps” allow you to quickly confirm events, indicate arrival or lateness, and more generally send an email or SMS (iPhone-only) to attendees of an event from the event view using predefined messages. They also make phone numbers and addresses tappable, to initiate calls and open the Maps application respectively.

What's new in Version 2.5
Welcome to 2012…with it, we’re introducing the new “Goal” view in Agenda to help you focus on your most important priorities for the year. Enjoy. :)

****
Agenda v2.5 requires functionality available only in iOS 5. If you are not on iOS 5, the new “Goal” view will not be available to you.
****

WHAT IS THE “GOAL VIEW”?

The “Goal” view gives you a big picture overview for key milestones in your year. It follows the philosophy of “getting your big rocks in first.” In other words, without specifically planning your larger, most important activities for the year (i.e., the big rocks), the various smaller yet less significant daily events (i.e., the gravel) will take their place. Use this view to ensure you have your “big rocks” in place for 2012!

HOW BEST TO USE THE “GOAL VIEW”?

Create 1-2 events (at most) per month throughout the year. Better yet, think of the 5-7 most important priorities you have for 2012. For example, add a vacation, retreat, family event, professional objective, and similar kinds of items.

HOW TO ENABLE THE “GOAL VIEW”?

Note: The “Goal” view will not show until it is enabled.

1) Visit the settings area of Agenda.

2) Tap “Extras” and then toggle “Goal View” on the next screen.

3) This will then create a new calendar named “Agenda Goals” on your device in the iOS calendar app, which will be accessible to Agenda.

4) Any events created on the goals screen will show in the new "Goal View" (provided you don’t change the calendar from “Agenda Goals”).

Once enabled, the goal view is located to the left of the year view on the iPhone and iPad. It is currently only available in the “Classic” (portrait) mode on the iPad.
